Yoga And Restorative Movement with Diane Bruni

In this workshop you’ll experience new ways to experience deep release and relaxation. Glide, slide, bounce, undulate, jiggle and walk. We will focus on yielding into the earth, body and breath.

If you’re dealing with nagging injuries and stretching (yoga) is not helping, you'll enjoy this alternative way to explore, and heal. You’ll remember the simplicity of moving with a childlike quality of curiosity.

Many of us have trained our bodies to perform poses that have little resemblance to the movements of daily life. What we learn on the mat sometimes has nothing to do with learning how to move efficiently as we walk, bend over, sit down, stand up, reach up to a high shelf or pick up our kids.

This movement workshop will examine these everyday movements from an efficiency standpoint. We’ll look at how to make these movements easier, not harder.

As we age, finding grace and ease in our movements allows for less wear and tear in joints and tissues.

This workshop will challenge you to slow down, but still to move, creating new pathways of coordination that will help you move with newfound fluidity.

Cost: $60
